After much persuasion, I finally started a blog. Like everything else I'm starting right, we'll see how this goes. With our immediate family stretched from Hawaii to Alaska to the Northwest to Tennessee, hopefully everyone will be able to keep up with what Kris and I are doing. At the time it consist of doing whatever we can to the house with our limited resources. By limited I mostly mean tools and supplies. Last night I tried to plant a dogwood tree in the back yard with just a small trowel, not the easiest tool for tree planting. As I was digging my small hole, I found lots of bits of concrete and even some nails. That really got me excited to keep working in the yard. The dogwood made it into the ground, as well as a clipping of some kind of southern fir Christmas tree.

Nice looking house! Why don't you show us some pictures inside and of your new tree. I know, the "house is a mess" but most of us won't mind.
You know I am delighted you joined the blogger people. It will be great to see your updates!
Hi Laura and Kris!
Great idea Laura! It's so great to hear how you guys are doing and what you're up to! Glad you finally got the tree in the ground!I hear Jeff's coming to visit!
We have just been busy settling in here in Kona, Hawaii. Cassidy loves the beaches and discovering new critters from geckos to mongooses. The weather's great...80high/70low. PomPom had a great time suntanning and checking out all the local beaches.
Hope to talk to you soon! Or better yet...come visit!:) Aloha!:)
Tammy
