Room Makeovers

My mother likes to call this room the Northwest room because of the photography and artwork in this room. Kyle calls this room Kris's room because of the big TV and video games, but I have a little corner of it dedicated to my current scrapbooking projects. The walls are antique gold, which looked a lot less yellow after the wicker was painted a brownish red to match the other wood pieces in the room.
The dining room was not that drastic of a makeover, but since it is in the middle of our kitchen and living room/great room the color really helps to isolate it and make this space warmer. The color is sauteed mushroom, which blends a little too well with the wood furniture in here, but I already have some ideas for the next color.

The Family Tree project-I got this kit from my mother as a Christmas present, and after figuring out where I wanted to hang it, I was motivated to get it out and complete it. The colors perfectly blend with our autumn/African living room.

I can't imagine another (better) colour than 'egg-shell white!' You did a nice job!

Everything looks great! Isn't decorating your own home fun? I really like the mushroom color! Hillary and my husband may agree on egg-shell white, but I want some color!

We really like what you did with your bonus room, Wow!, very warm and inviting, and really enhances the geometry of the room. We can't wait to see your dining room and the family tree. We like the mushroom color, it's a darker version of the "macadamia nut" we just did here in our living/dining room after 25 years of eggshell! Sure warms things up.
