During my mom's stint in the lower 48 (as it's referred to in Alaska) she came out to Nashville for a week. We had a lot of fun touring around town, working in my flower beds, and scrapbooking. We spent one day at Mammoth Caves, and went on the Historical cave tour. This was the first of the tight spots, I don't remember what it was called, but if you are tall enough, you bend over completely at the waist to get down this flight of stairs. Mom just had to hunker down a little.

Fat Man's Misery
This was a section of cave where the water only carved out this skinny path. The path was like this for about 100 feet.
Because this is my mom, and she made it through the whole week without wearing any kind of funny hat.

Well you see she forgot all about her hats because she was looking so hard for Elvis... and she found him I see!
