Ireland Silhouette International

The reason for going to Ireland was for a smallbore silhouette match. It was a three day match with 40+ competitors. 6 shooters came from the states while the rest were from Ireland and North Ireland. Here are (sorry, not in order) the Joe's from the Virgina's, Dennis Dadian from California, Jerry Boydston from Texas, Cathy who is from Illinois at the moment, and her Dad Chris from Montana. Most people that asked me, I answered I was from Washington.

The last day of the match we had snowy and cold conditions. The only thing we saw more of than snow were sheep. I was hoping to get a picture of the sheep over the rifle range. They would graze on the pasture on top of the back wall of the range. The babies were pretty cute.
Mother's Day in Ireland is the third Sunday of March, so the last day of the match was Mother's Day. Here Cathy and I are posing with our moms. We have pictures similar to this one all over North America, France and South Africa too.
More pictures of the rifle range.
