I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still here, and getting involved and staying busy in Nashville. One thing that made it really hard for me to adjust to life in Nashville is that I wasn't neary involved in activities as I was in Vancouver. Well that is starting to change...We are making lots of new friends, getting to know more people in our church, and learning what normal people do for fun in Nashville.
I have been racking up the miles on my car lately. 2 weeks ago I spent 4 days in Columbia, MO for the Bianchi Cup which is an action pistol competition...no I did not compete there. Last weekend I was in Winnsboro, LA for the Southern Nationals, which is a smallbore rife competition. I did well in the standard rifle but not so good in hunter rifle. Kris and I spent Memorial Day in Kentucky at the Mammoth Caves National Park which was awesome, I will post pictures soon. It is only 1 1/2 hours from our house, so when you come to visit, it is something you can go and see too! I have been keeping very busy with Creative Memories and getting to know more people in my neighborhood and at church through scrap booking. I have also been doing some painting in the house, shooting practice, and working too!
Kris is really enjoying his motorcycle, and he took a riding class last weekend that he really enjoyed. He is looking into taking the advanced class later on this summer. He has completed all the work for the first year of his apprenticeship and has already started into the 2nd year...Only 3 more years starting June 22nd!

I am glad to hear the update. I thought perhaps you had fallen off the face of the earth. Glad to hear you are keeping busy and hope to see you soon!
Sounds like Dan's countdown of his years in the Navy! Hope it is slightly more pleasant;-)
